David starts new learner drivers on off-street areas in order to concentrate on getting familiar with the car and its controls without the worry of other road users around them before going on to the main roads.

You will be driving in a manual Mini Cooper S Diesel, which is an easy modern car to drive and has all the standard safety features fitted.

David covers all aspects of driving needed to pass your test within his driving lessons, including town driving, dual carriageways, all weather driving, out-of-town driving and dusk/darkness driving. In addition to driving lessons, David also offers hazard perception and theory test help and advice.

Pass Plus Driving Lessons

Pass Plus is a practical training course that takes at least 6 hours and is for drivers who have already passed their driving test to improve their skills and drive more safely. It can be taken at any time although it is most useful to new drivers during the first year after passing their test. Pass Plus training has 6 modules, covering driving in town, in all weathers, on rural roads, at night, on dual carriage ways and on motorways. All modules should be practical sessions, although local conditions may mean some are theory based. You won't take a test but will be assessed throughout the course and to pass you will have to reach the required standard in all modules.

Plus Pass lessons can be given in David's manual Mini Cooper S or your own car.

Successfully completing the Pass Plus course may help you get a discounted rate on car insurance.

Refresher Driving Lessons

Refresher driving lessons can be useful for drivers who have not driven for some time, have lost confidence following an accident, have developed bad habits since passing their test, want to keep up-to-date with regulations and techniques or improve their confidence, skills or safety when driving.

David offers refresher courses to new and older drivers, with courses tailored to each individual and providing advice and tips on how to improve your driving and help you practise.

Refresher lessons can be given in David's manual Mini Cooper S or your own car.

Motorway Driving Lessons

Only driving instructors are authorised to give motorway lessons on a provisional licence. Driving on a motorway is very diffent to driving on other roads and can be very daunting. Whether you have recently passed your driving test, have not driven on motorways often or at all, or are just nervous of driving on motorways you will find David's motorway driving training to be beneficial.

David offers motorway driving courses tailored to each individual and his professional tuition will ensure you know how to drive safely and considerately on motorways, increase your confidence and gain the necessary knowledge regarding the different rules, regulations and signage that applies on motorways.

Motorway driving lessons can be given in David's manual Mini Cooper S or your own car.
