David Searle, based in Wantage, is a driving instructor offering professional, patient, reliable and friendly driving lessons 7 days a week to pupils in Wantage, Grove, Childrey and the surrounding villages. In addition to driving lessons for new learner drivers David also offers referesher courses and motorway driving lessons for those who have already passed their driving test wanting to build up their confidence and skills.

Once you have passed your theory test, and are at the correct stage with your training I will book your practical test for you. This can be a time consuming and frustrating process for pupils/parents which I take on for you at no extra cost.

As an independent driving instructor, pupils are guaranteed the same instructor for every lesson and David believes that driving lessons should be enjoyable and tailored to each individual pupil. He is a calm, patient and friendly instructor committed to ensuring his pupils receive good quality driving tuition. Driving lessons for learner drivers cover all aspects of driving needed to pass the driving test.

David has helped many pupils from Wantage, Grove, Childrey and the surrounding villages pass their driving test and has a high first time pass rate for learner drivers that is well above the national average of 48%*.   David has also provided Assessors Reports for pupils who have used ‘Learning to Drive’ as one of the skills they have successfully developed to help them achieve their Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award.

David is a DBS checked and DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and also a member the ADINJC (ADI National Joint Council) and the Institute of Advanced Motorists, so pupils are assured of quality driving tuition.
